Email name and address settings let you control the 'reply to' email address and 'from name' on emails that you send from EMAC.

About Email Address Settings

 You have 3 options for outgoing email addresses:

1. The logged in user (default)
2. Your own email address
3. Someone else's email address

 You can add as many unique email addresses as you like, but set only one at a time.

Outgoing Email Address Options

You have 2 different options for outgoing email addresses sent from your business in EMAC

1. The logged in user (default email address setting)

  • The 'reply to' email address is the logged in user's login address.
  • The 'from name' is the logged in user's profile name.
  • The 'from' email address is always email-service@emac.com.au.

2. Someone else's email address

  • The 'reply to' email address are emails sent by any user from your business.
  1. The email account holder must approve the request
  2. Set the email address after the account holder approves the request
  3. They may decline the invitation now, or after you've set it
  • The 'from name' is the name you choose when you add the account holder's email address.
  • The 'from' email address is always email-service@emac.com.au.

How to Add and Set a New Default Email Address

1. From the header select the  icon.
2. Select Email icon.
3. On the right side of Email address, select Edit.
4. Select + Add email address.
5. In the 'Reply to' Email address field, add the new 'reply to' email address that you want your EMAC emails to be replied to.
6. In the Email name field, enter the name you want your email recipients to see as who the email is from.
7.  Select Add email.

  • EMAC has now set your email address as the 'reply to' address for any emails that you send form your user profile. 
  • You may need to resend the email invitation if it expires (after 14 days) or if the email is deleted.

How to Resend an Email Invitation That's Expired or Deleted

1. From the header select the  icon. 
2. Select the Email Icon.
3. On the right side of the Email address, select Edit.


4. On the right side of the pending or expired email address approval, select Resend.
5. Select Yes.

How to Delete an Email Address

You can delete any email address you no longer use, except the logged in user option. If it's a default email address, you'll first need to set a new default email address.

  1. From the header select the  icon.
  2. Select the Email icon.
  3. On the right side of Email address, select Edit.

  4. On the right side of the email address you want to delete, select Remove.

  5. Select the Save button.
